I stumbled upon this 2006 New York Times article entitled, “Affordable Europe: Geneva.”
With its reputation as a hive of private banking, the idea of finding a bargain in Geneva may induce peals of laughter. Yet if you know where to look and what to avoid, you can make your way without breaking your own personal bank.
My memories of student life in Geneva consisted of lots of pasta primavera. I wish I’d been able to read your ideas when I was there many years ago! But, I would always urge anyone going there to try the Raclete!
